British FV432 armored personnel carrier with L7 GPMG. Entered British service as a "battle taxi" troop carrier in 1963. Not intended as a fighting vehicle as designed, but to transport an infantry section to and from the vicinity of the engagement and, at most, provide additional suppressive fire. Much like the M113 or MT-LB it was intended to serve as the basis for a broad range of other roles, including mobile command, ATGM carrier, communications and more.
This kit serves as the basic APC with separate commander's hatch, rear door and open or closed top hatch as well as the blanking plate for the PEAK Engineering machine gun turret. All parts included are shown in the last photo. Unlike most of our other models, FV432 and its variants will require assembly into your preferred configuration, and will need to be glued together with cyanoacrylate superglue.
