British FV432 armored personnel carrier with L6 WOMBAT 120mm recoilless rifle and L7 GPMG. Entered British service 1964. WOMBAT is the final development of the L2 BAT, which replaced the 3.45 inch recoilless and the OQF 17 pounder beginning in 1953. Fired HESH out to 1800m with the aid of a .50 cal spotting rifle and remained in service through the 1980s due to the limitations of anti-tank missiles of the era.
This kit includes separate commander's hatch, rear door and GPMGs. The WOMBAT is printed with the vehicle in one piece. All parts included are shown in the last photo. Unlike most of our other models, FV432 and its variants will require assembly into your preferred configuration, and will need to be glued together with cyanoacrylate superglue.
