British Comet A34 Cruiser Tank 3d print 15mm 1/100 WW2 Flames of War

$7.00

British Comet Cruiser Tank with 77mm HV gun and two 7.92mm BESA machine guns. Entered British service in January 1945 as the last cruiser tank, and the one that finally got the concept right. Fast, reliable, well armored for a medium tank with a gun capable of killing all but the heaviest tanks from the front while also having an effective HE round, Comet would have excelled had it entered service in quantity any earlier. As it was, Comet missed all but the very end of the War and was already outdated by the Soviet tanks entering service in the immediate post war period. Comet went on to perform well in the Korean War and was exported in small numbers to the Republic of Ireland, Finland and, interestingly, Cuba before Castro took over.

Comet is available in four versions: the WW2 A type with cowled exhausts, the postwar B type with fishtail exhausts, the Finnish export version with fishtail exhausts and turret mounted smoke grenade launchers, and the Irish version with updated turret but the A type cowled exhaust.

Each tank comes with one open and one closed commander's cupola. This is an all new, original design that is much closer to true scale and has improved detail.

3d SLA printed from grey resin under license from V. Mifsud's design in 15mm scale for your favorite wargames. This miniature will ship washed, cured and cleared of supports just like the photos. It will require some cleanup to remove minor printing artifacts. All miniatures are printed on order and shipped as quickly as possible, so the 5 business day handling is a guideline. Please contact me for timing.
