The fewer than 100 vehicles built served in the French and Belgian armies during the 1940 campaign where poor armor generally condemned them to destruction by PaK 36s before their poor reliability, lack of spares and ill trained crews could take them out of service. While it did at least have a two man turret with the commander's hatch on top of the turret, rather than at the rear, the design and production process made modern procurement scandals seem almost reasonable.
Due to the necessarily small, difficult to handle top hatch, this model will ship with one open hatch and one closed hatch turret per hull at 1/100 scale. At 1/72 and larger, please choose an open or closed hatch turret.
